Location and Land

Location and Land. If the top two requirements for your new home are for a great location and a large lot, this should be on the top of your list. 2046 square meters in Forrest Street Narrogin.
With all the classic features of a post war family friendly home, the residence has been undergone several upgrades over the years but holds largely to the original floor plan of the period.
The front portico leads to the original wood frame, glass panelled door and then into the central hallway. The master bedroom and the formal lounge sit either side of the entry and both rooms are serviced by reverse cycle airconditioners.
There are four bedrooms in total with three queensize rooms and a fourth bedroom located in the enclosed rear verandah.
The kitchen has solid wood cabinetry and a bench level oven and electric hotplates. A separate meals area retains the delightful Metters fuel stove. It's a handy second oven or a classic way to warm the central living area, along with the reverse cycle airconditioner.
The small bathroom with separate toilet in the enclosed verandah is not the only one. There is a second shower with roman bath and a toilet located in the outside laundry.
At the rear this great sized block there is ample space to turn vehicles and trailers. Add to this a garage with two semi attached rooms and a four car carport and garden shed.
Not just location, here you have location and land. Call Sandra Hortin, Elders Narrogin – (Fairway St) 0487316906 for viewing times.

Narrogin overview

The townsite of Narrogin is located in the great southern agricultural region, 192 km south east of Perth and 32 km east north east of Williams. It is located on the Great Southern Railway, and when this line was opened in 1889, Narrogin was one of the original stopping places. The railway line was a private line, and the Company that built the line declared a private townsite here in 1891. The railway was purchased by the Government in 1896, and in 1897 Narrogin was gazetted as a government townsite.

Narrogin is an Aboriginal name, having been first recorded as "Narroging" for a pool in this area in 1869. The meaning of the name is uncertain, various sources recording it as "bat camp", "plenty of everything" or derived from "gnargagin" which means "place of water".
