Why Pay Rent When You Can Buy This?

What a gem! A fantastic first home or down-sizer in a handy location. With 3 queensize bedrooms, this home combines a great outdoor living space and secure storage without the fuss of a large garden. Inside, the kitchen has plenty of cupboard space and a near new stainless steel oven. The kitchen, meals area and lounge room have wood-look laminate floors and neutral wall colours. A slow combustion heater and a reverse cycle airconditioner take care of cold nights and hot days. Ready to lock up and leave, you will be pleased to know that this home has security on the windows as well as the front and back door. Outside, there is large outdoor entertaining space. The patio extends the full width of the house and is bordered by a small neat reticulated lawn. If you think you might like a small vegetable garden, take a look at these raised garden beds behind the white picket fence. With rear lane access there is parking for another vehicle, trailer or caravan next to the double garage. It is a perfect package for a retiree, busy first home owner or investor. Narrogin overview

The townsite of Narrogin is located in the great southern agricultural region, 192 km south east of Perth and 32 km east north east of Williams. It is located on the Great Southern Railway, and when this line was opened in 1889, Narrogin was one of the original stopping places. The railway line was a private line, and the Company that built the line declared a private townsite here in 1891. The railway was purchased by the Government in 1896, and in 1897 Narrogin was gazetted as a government townsite.

Narrogin is an Aboriginal name, having been first recorded as "Narroging" for a pool in this area in 1869. The meaning of the name is uncertain, various sources recording it as "bat camp", "plenty of everything" or derived from "gnargagin" which means "place of water".
