Set on an 812sqm block, this has to be one of the best-designed homes of its era. Built in the early 1970s, it has great living space and large bedrooms.
It's hard to know what to like the most; the big block with side access to the big shed, the great outdoor living areas, or the extremely comfortable interior. Maybe we can just like them all the most because this is one very likable package indeed.
INSIDE
The large kitchen is positioned adjacent to the outdoor living space. There's a great meals area as well and whilst it's all quite original, it's very neat, well-maintained, and practical. If you're a visionary who wants to modernise, it offers plenty of scope for enhancement if you want to. The lounge room is huge! There's so much space for larger furniture styles and whilst it does really have a bit of a 1970s vibe going on, there ain't nothing wrong with that and it's retro-cool and retro big, far exceeding the size of modern homes in this price range. There's heaps of storage and the bedrooms all have robe space. The master bedroom has plenty of room for king-size furniture and the modern kid will be impressed with the old-fashioned decent space in the bedrooms.
OUTSIDE
This patio is huge. There is more than enough space for entertaining a family or the friends or even the family and their friends. The backyard has plenty of lawn and garden to enjoy and the kids can muck around for hours out here. You've got plenty of space to play in this big workshop and there's parking undercover in the enclosed carport and room to park a boat or caravan out the back as well.
WHERE IT IS
It's super close to the Creyk Park oval with a huge redevelopment recently undertaken here that includes cricket nets, a cricket pitch, football goals, and an awesome playground. There's even the walk tail through the bush so you can take the dog for a walk through the reserve. It's walking distance to Kingsley Primary School as well as public transport and the Armadale Hospital.

Kelmscott is a mixed-use residential, industrial, rural and commercial suburb located 25 kilometres southeast of Perth. The suburb was one of the very early towns established in the Swan River Colony and was named after Kelmscott, Oxfordshire, the birthplace of the first Anglican clergyman in the colony, Thomas Hobbes Scott (1783–1860). Established in 1830, Kelmscott's most rapid growth period was in the 1960s and 1970s.
Though close to the lively Armadale City Centre, Kelmscott is a quiet suburb nestled among the numerous parks and reserves that pepper its landscape. The Kelmscott Town Centre is the main commercial sector with the Kelmscott Plaza and Stargate Kelmscott Shopping Centre all located here. There is also a railway station and four local schools in Kelmscott.
