This home is for the dreamers, the artists, the creatives, and those who simply appreciate a charming old home full of quirky features. A unique 1960s beauty set on a big block of 3369sqm, it will win you over before you even step foot inside thanks to the big verandah welcoming you in from the garden, and the amazing zig zag windows running the length of the house. And once you do enter the living area all your vintage dreams will come true as it has been virtually untouched in the decades since its construction.
A stone feature wall set behind the hearth, saloon doors leading to the timber-trimmed kitchen, pendant and sconce lighting, and sweet pastel paint colours; the best of the '60s live on here. But modern additions such as solar hot water and the ever-essential aircon ensure you're comfy and content all year round. And it's not just the house itself that's appealing, but the gardens, too. Established native plants blend the block beautifully with the reserve that's only around the corner, and natural stone retaining walls and winding paths add structure as well as whimsy.

The name "Darlington" is derived from adding the English suffix "ton", meaning "town" to the name of the range in the area - Darling Range which was first named "General Darling Range". The name was first used by Dr Alfred Waylen who established the "Darlington Vineyard" here in 1883-4.
Darlington remains one of the few locations in the Perth hills with an early 20th century village ambience. It is known for its vibrant community with seemingly as many committees and groups as it has residents. The suburb has a local general store however residents rely on the the facilities at Midland and Mundaring which are close by. There are also various primary and secondary schools in the area.
