HOME OPEN CANCELLED - UNDER OFFER

Live in the fast lane and move yourself into this stylish 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home that is private, secure and sits on a low-maintenance block, lending itself to an enviable "lock-up-and-leave" lifestyle close to absolutely everything you could ever want or need.

Entry is via the security of a remote-controlled double lock-up garage with its own storeroom, right next to a pitched front patio-entertaining area where quality paving meets an outdoor gas bayonet - perfect for tranquil barbecues in the summertime. In the rear garden, you will find a lemon tree and plenty of native Australian plants that complement the exotic flavours of pomegranate, peach and apple verdure, as well as a pineapple bush for good measure.

The main door opens into a neatly-tiled living and dining area with its own internal gas bayonet for heating, plus sliding-door access directly out to the patio. The adjacent kitchen has been renovated to include new modern cupboard doors, bench tops and tiled splashbacks, alongside a Technika gas cooktop, an electric oven and a storage pantry.

The laundry and separate toilet have also been impressively revamped, whilst a sleek bathroom with a shower and sparkling stone-aggregate bench tops doubles as the semi-ensuite of the larger master bedroom - full-height mirrored built-in wardrobes and all. The other two bedrooms have built-in robes of their own.

A short walk away from the heart of Mount Hawthorn, easily accessible to Leederville and just minutes from the vibrant Main Street café and restaurant strip, a plethora of local parklands, excellent schools, picturesque Lake Monger, the freeway, Glendalough Train Station, Flinders Square, Dog Swamp and The Mezz Shopping Centres, the city and even the coast, this is one property that definitely defines living convenience. What a buy!

Joondanna overview

The first of the northern suburbs which were born in the post War period of the 1940s was Joondanna. Originally named Joondanna Heights, Joondanna was chosen after the Perth Road Board launched a competition to find a suitable name in 1939. The competition was won by Mrs A Curtis of Donnybrook who suggested Joondanna as this was the name given by a Mr. Banks to his property. He is believed to have been the first settler and owner of land in the area.
