30 Perkins Road, Melville is one of those properties that, at first glance, you get the feeling that this home has been meticulously maintained by the same loving owners for close to 50 years. Nestled between the trees and on an 850sqm block, it is positioned close to some amazing shops, parks and schools.
Making your way up the stairs of the verandah and into the mirrored entry, you are greeted with a large formal lounge room to your left and long hallway on your right. Off the hallway you will find the 4 bedrooms all with their own built in robes and ceiling fans. The spacious master bedroom is located at the front of the home.
You can always tell when the home has been built for a family and this home ticks all boxes. With the kitchen, lounge and dining areas all joining each other in the heart of the home, entertaining for friends and family is made easy. The property also features 2 (two) separate bar areas.
Heading out the back, you can’t help but notice how fantastic the pool and garden areas are. With a good sized outdoor entertaining zone adjoining the generous sized below ground salt water pool, it makes for less time in the garden and more time to enjoy with family.
Other features of this home include:
- Evaporative A/C system
- Jarrah floorboards
- 2 separate bathrooms
- Single garage with double carport

Melville is a small suburb 11 kilometres south of Perth City. Its two square kilometre land area is bound to the north by Canning Highway and Leach Highway in the south. Melville's most substantial development took place in the 1950s.
Though very close to many commercial sectors just outside of its boundaries, Melville is largely removed from urbanisation. Home to a number of parks and reserves, the suburb provides locals with numerous native public spaces to explore and enjoy. There are also two local schools, Melville Primary School and Melville Senior High School, and a recreation centre.
