THE BIG LITTLE BEAUTY

Do not, I repeat, do not let this BIG LITTLE BEAUTY slip through your fingers!

Blocks of this size and in such locations are in high demand and will no doubt become on the near extinction list in years to come. With a whopping near quarter acre (950m2) all totally flat, fully landscaped and with awesome side access is just what first home buyers and young families dreams are made of and don't forget the retirees and downsizers who still yearn the BIG block for boats, caravans and gardening.

In addition to this uniquely size block with all the outdoor extras nestled in a quaint little cul-de-sac and within easy walking distance to Maida Vale Primary School and public transport and only 25-30 minute drive to Perth makes this one very attractive property both short term and long term.

The home itself is a little cutie with a surprising generous floor plan comprising an open plan modern kitchen and dining that adjoins a sunken large lounge room with character high raked ceilings. There are three bedrooms and one refreshed bathroom ready for you and your family to move straight in and enjoy without any extra expenses required.

Adjoining the kitchen and dining area is a huge gable patio with timber decking and café blinds making entertaining all year round with copious amounts of space. Beyond the patio is a sprawling lawn area perfect for young children and Dad has wide spanning side access to rear 6m x 5m workshop with ready to go provision for power.

Although ready to enjoy all the fruits of labour and love of the current owners this home also offers the exciting potential to build a granny flat at the rear, making dual accommodation and extended independent family living so prosperous and affordable. (subject to relevant authority approval)

Priced to exceed all expectations and with three bedroom homes now selling in the high $500's in the surrounding suburbs of Kalamunda makes this an absolute No Brainer decision.

Maida Vale overview

This area was first settled in 1873 by William Henry Mead. He built a home in the Ridge Hill area, and established an orchard named "Orangedale". The name of Maida Vale was chosen as the district name by a public meeting of local residents in 1910, and comes from the property name of another early settler, Mr W H McCormack. It is assumed that the name was derived from that of the west London suburb of this name, which in turn is named after Maida (S. Pietro di Maida) in Calabria, Italy. The British Army defeated the French there in 1806, and in commemoration of the victory Maida Hall and Maida Vale were named.

Life in Maida Vale

Within the suburb there is a primary school, Maida Vale Primary School, a golf course, numerous parks/ovals, small shops, and a heated swimming pool. Maida Vale retains areas of natural bushland and is not completely built-up with housing.
