What we love
This stunning Federation style home has all the charm and character of an early 19th century house but with all the advantages of a modern home. The cool, leafy appeal of the front yard with brick paving and pathway leading to the gorgeous bullnose verandah and red front door, gives a hint of what lies inside – a stylish and beautifully maintained home.
Built on a 727sqm block in 1993, this brick 4 bedroom 2 bathroom home faithfully reflects the Federation style with period features that include French doors, ceiling roses, picture rails and brass fittings and fixtures. French doors, elegant light fixtures and plush carpet are highlights of the tastefully decorated formal/sitting room, whilst the family room, open dining and kitchen boast extremely appealing hardwood floors.
The classic federation-style kitchen provides plenty of storage and preparation space, modern gas stove and wall oven, microwave cavity, double stainless-steel sink, Bosch dishwasher and island bench all set within very stylish wooden and glass-paneled cabinetry. Large windows above the kitchen sink look out to the impressive brick paved alfresco entertaining area.
High quality carpets reflecting the period, built-in robes, ceiling fans and split air-conditioners feature throughout the large bedrooms. The generous master suite includes a beautifully tiled ensuite with shower, face level mirrored cabinet and toilet.
The main bathroom stuns with its gorgeous tiles, unique wooden and marble top vanity, ornate mirror and separate bath and shower.
Other inclusions are split-system air-conditioning, ceiling fans and gas heating.
Th property boasts an established garden including roses, frangipani, fresh herbs, a grape vine, mulberry, mango, lemon, orange, lime, passionfruit and fig trees, and a prolifically fruiting Avocado tree.
Not your average Woodvale home, this classic beauty is truly a rare gem.
