If you're a bit ambitious and realise that the Perth property market is going to see some strong recovery in the next few years then this is your opportunity to jump in and make some real money. Very rarely do you find large, updated homes on these sort of development supersites. Normally the 1000sqm+ sites are occupied by run down 3x1 homes that you can't swing a cat in. The rare opportunity to have a beautifully modern, 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with drive through access to a 9x6m (aprox) powered workshop on a possible 6 unit site is just to good to pass up.
Features include:
- 5 bedrooms (2 of them are master sized rooms)
- Front lounge or theatre
- Open plan dining and family area
- Large country style kitchen with 900mm gas cooker
- New painting, carpet and flooring throughout
- LED downlighting
- New renovated laundry
- 2 neat and clean bathrooms
- Ducted air conditioning
- Solar panels to keep that electricity bill low
- Solar hot water system
- Carport under the main roof with drive through access to the yard
- New gabled and lined alfresco patio area
- Supersized 6x9m (approx) powered workshop
The current zoning on this property is R25/R60 and because it's over 1000sqm the City of Kalamunda will grant you the higher R60 zoning. There is potential to retain the current home and build out the back or eventually demolish the home and unlock the full amazing potential in this superblock! Being directly opposite the Primary school and oval gives the property the perfect positioning for great future resale.
Only 4 years ago these 1000sqm blocks in Forrestfield with old 3 bedroom homes were selling for about $530,000 so you can see there is money to be made on this one as soon as the market recovers. Secure your family home now and secure your future with this amazing block.

Forrestfield is a suburb of the City of kalamunda and is 15 kilometres of the south-east of Perth. Local folklore suggests that the name comes from Charles Hale who settled here in 1902 and planted a crop amongst the trees. A neighbour referred to him wanting a forest and a field at the same time and the name was later applied to the area. A Forrest Field Progress Association was formed as early as 1927 and the name is shown on plans as Forrestfield for 1944.
Forrestfield is home to the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre which includes an indoor stadium for various sports, an 18-hole golf course, equestrian centre, nature park and lake. The main shopping centre known as the 'Forrestfield Forum and Marketplace' is home to 52 stores. There are a range of other retail establishments scattered throughout the area.
There are also a range of primary and secondary schools in the area and construction is currently underway on the Forrestfield-Airport Link which is scheduled to open in 2021 and will connect Perth Airport with the city. A Forrestfield train station is included in this development.
