Shaun Pratt of Bellcourt is excited to present to you 25 Watson Place, Maylands.

Located on a lovely tree-lined street only a moment's walk to the river, this fantastic home is a really great surprise. Set on a well sized 260sqm street-front lot with a perfectly sized backyard, enclosed garage, waterwise native front yard with veggie patches, bright open plan living area and bonus enclosed rear patio area - this would make a brilliant low-maintenance abode to call home.

Immaculately maintained and with no strata fees to worry about this is a property you'll absolutely adore!

The living area and kitchen is to the front of the home, with fantastic northern aspect bringing in plenty of natural light through the large windows. The kitchen is modern and overlooks the front yard and connects to the living area. The two bedrooms are separated by the main bathroom that is located between them. The bathroom is a combined laundry situation and is very neat, with the ability to add your own touches or leave as is. At the rear of the property is an enclosed patio area which is a great bonus to have - I'm thinking maybe an art space, indoor/outdoor entertainment area full of your indoor plant collection, or study/reading room!

Heading outside, there is a great size patio that is extra high, letting in plenty of natural light while still providing protection from the elements - it connects to the rear yard which again is a great size, and perfect if you have children/grandchildren or pets or want a little bit of garden to play with.

I really like 25 Watson Place and I'm sure you will too. It's a great home for singles, couples and potentially a small family, and has so much to offer without having to worry about being in a strata complex or contending with expensive strata fees. The cherry on top is the fantastic inner-city location being close to everything that trendy Maylands and surrounding suburbs have to offer while being walking distance to the river.

Maylands overview

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.

The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.

Life in Maylands

Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
