What a fantastic, spacious family home, sitting in this sought after pocket of Margaret River. In an ideal, elevated location, on a huge 1,020 m² block at the top of a quiet cup de sac, this is a perfect family home, withy a fabulous garden for the children to play.
The kitchen is open plan to the living and dining area and is heated by a lovely combustion wood heater. The living space extends out to a north facing, al fresco entertaining area, with cafe blinds and its own open fireplace, offering an additional living space which can be used all year round.
The master bedroom sits to the front of the home and offers a walk through robe plus en suite, complete with spa bath. The second bedroom or study is ideally situated adjacent to the master. To the rear of the home is a separate living space, with the third and fourth bedrooms leading off, both with built in robes.
A big big plus is the two double garages, amazing for storage, so yes, you CAN keep the caravan, the vintage car, the jet ski, the motorcycle, the boat and all those boards, bikes and still have room for a workshop space and there is plenty of extra outdoor parking as well.
The huge yard is a childhood dream come true and a gardener's paradise. There is plenty of room for kids and pets to run and play, and lots of scope to be creative if you are that way inclined.
A short stroll will bring you to the epicentre of the Margaret River township, and the river itself is only 500 metres away. This is such a peaceful, quiet location, but only a stones throw from all the action, a fantastic place to call home.

The townsite of Margaret River is located in the south west agricultural area, 277 kilometres south southwest of Perth and 48 kilometres south southwest of Busselton. It is located on the Margaret River from which it derives its name. The precise origin of the naming of the river is not known, but it was possibly named by John Bussell in honour of Margaret Wyche, a friend in England who was expected to follow the Bussell's to Australia. The name is first shown on a map of the region published in 1839.
In 1910 the Margaret River Progress Association wrote to the Minister for Lands requesting a townsite be declared at "the Upper Margaret Bridge". The reason given was that "the district is likely to be dotted with public buildings several miles apart in the near future if a townsite is not made available shortly". The District Surveyor who inspected the area preferred an area near the lower bridge on Caves Road, but this land was not available. Lots were surveyed in 1912, and the Townsite of Margaret River gazetted in 1913. In 1918 the name of the townsite was changed to "Margaret", but it was changed back to Margaret River in 1927, due to local usage of the name always being Margaret River.
