Set on 2,016 sqm of prime hills land, this stunning four-bedroom two bathroom home is the ultimate in secluded Hills living. Beautifully designed and making even the sharpest, most fastidious clean freak give it a 10 out of 10 for cleanliness this family home is being sold for the very first time.
INSIDE
I reckon now's a good moment to stop reading and go back to the photos and check out the floor plan. Awesome living spaces combined with big bedrooms make this the ideal home for a family of any age at any stage. The kitchen is enormous and features beautiful cabinetry and tremendous workspace. It's a central component of the design of this home and you can be sure that it will be where much of the day-to-day activity happens and where people congregate at the end of the day.
The kitchen overlooks the meals area and the huge main living space. The ceilings in this living area are extraordinary and the soaring height creates a real sense of space. This area opens out to the enormous alfresco area, but I will tell you about that in a moment. The theatre room at the front of the house is secluded and separate from the day-to-day busyness of the main living area. You can close it off and escape with a movie or a book and be bothered by nothing and no one.
THE BEDROOMS
The master suite is beautiful and has built-in robes and a magnificent ensuite bathroom which features a large shower, a bath and a separate toilet. It has been recently renovated and really is a highlight amongst the many highlights in this home. Whilst there is plenty of storage and plenty of space here, there's more if you want it. The study is adjacent to the master bedroom and could easily be adjusted to provide additional dressing room space or would even work perfectly as a nursery.
The secondary bedrooms are all very spacious and feature built-in robes. They will take a queen size bed or other large furniture styles. The laundry and I don't normally take the time to tell you about a laundry, but this one is fantastic! It has heaps of storage heaps of workspace and is perfectly positioned adjacent to the kitchen. It works as a scullery style space if you need it to and you really do have versatility on offer here.
OUTSIDE
This really is a magnificent home and the gardens truly define it. Beautifully established and reticulated, with nothing but a bit of pruning needed to keep it looking good. These leafy green gardens are cooling in summer and so attractive to wildlife. The garden is home to birds, bandicoots, and even an old kangaroo who has decided that he wants to live right here. And who could blame him?...
Entertaining is a dream here with the enormous alfresco area that has been the site of some pretty huge parties over the years and is sure to be for whoever makes this their home. It overlooks the back lawn and if you decided to trim the trees back a bit you have a lovely valley vista from here. It's a quiet part of the world and very protected. The neighbours around here are lovely, but you don't need to see them in this beautifully protected and private garden. It's a terraced yard and beyond the lawn, we find a huge section that would make the dream veggie garden and chook pen. There's already a chook pen here, however, it's some years since it's seen any egg action. It really is just waiting for the new family to come and take this level, to, well, the next level.
Here is something interesting and much like the laundry I don't normally take much time for you to talk about the loo... But I will because most homes around here are connected to septic tank systems, but this is connected to deep sewage so there is much less hassle when it comes to dealing with that. Anyway, flush without fear.

Whilst we're up in the hills it's also close to public transport so you can get around easily. It's close to the bus stop and it's on the doorstep of Roleystone and Kelmscott. Up the hill, you have Roleystone with fantastic restaurants, cafés, and specialty stores in the Roleystone town centre. It's a fantastic place to call home.

Established in 1830, Kelmscott's most rapid growth period was in the 1960s and 1970s.
