UNDER OFFER

Sorry - its now under offer.

Why buy "just" a block when you can buy ALL this? A really solid air conditioned 50's home with a powered workshop, nestled into the most wonderful partially fenced 2 acres of land, backing right onto Mundy Park and within walking distance of all of the the Falls trails and walk tracks. Elevated with views, this is just a beautiful piece of land and offers up a brilliant opportunity for a renovator or just someone looking to get into what has to be one of the best located Rural Zoned property markets on a budget.

A one owner family home that feels like it has so many stories to tell since its inception back around 1960 - it is well built, solid and a long way off the road. It is on limestone footings which has created a wonderful under-croft garage and cellar that could form the basis of a future music room or studio. While absolutely live-able right now, it is crying out for a renovator to come and make it really special and the elements are all there. Big rooms, 4 x new reverse cycle split system air cons, new electrical's, solar hot water and on scheme water in addition to a wood burner kitchen stove to die for that could form the centerpiece of your newly renovated kitchen. These are just a few of the things to love inside.

Outside though is why you would really buy a home here. The front of this property used to be an orchard rich with fruit trees and some of them remain. There are the sweetest mandarins, oranges, lemons etc which underpin the quality of the soil, but best of all is the very, very productive Macadamia tree and believe me when I say they are just so GOOD. But moving off produce, the block rises gently then more steeply up towards the Park. The back half of this property used to house the chicken pens and another workshop and you can even access the Park directly from your back fence!

The views are excellent although you do not get uninterrupted city views due to some trees that are in the way. You do have excellent views to the North regardless and you can see the city from where the workshop is located. Speaking of the workshop, its a beauty - and fully powered with electric door and it has a roller door to the back so you can drive right through, and up the hill to the rear of your property.

I am finding the more time I spend here, the more you find and discover - and its endearing. With so much on offer, come and take a look and have a good look around - I would allow plenty of time as you will need it. Call me to view today on 0403 675 737 and lets tee up a time to show you this absolutely brilliant home.

Note: The initial structural report is done and a copy can be provided to potential buyers and while you are welcome to undertake your own, there are no apparent structural defects at this stage, though over the years some cracking has occurred. The house is absolutely fully functional and compliant but will be sold on an "as is where is" basis.

Forrestfield overview

Forrestfield is a suburb of the City of kalamunda and is 15 kilometres of the south-east of Perth. Local folklore suggests that the name comes from Charles Hale who settled here in 1902 and planted a crop amongst the trees. A neighbour referred to him wanting a forest and a field at the same time and the name was later applied to the area. A Forrest Field Progress Association was formed as early as 1927 and the name is shown on plans as Forrestfield for 1944.

Life in Forrestfield

Forrestfield is home to the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre which includes an indoor stadium for various sports, an 18-hole golf course, equestrian centre, nature park and lake. There are also a range of primary and secondary schools in the area and construction is currently underway on the  Forrestfield-Airport Link which is scheduled to open in 2021 and will connect Perth Airport with the city. A Forrestfield train station is included in this development.
