Beach One Way, Bush the Other!

Privately positioned to the rear and enjoying an enviable coastal location between beach and bush, this delightful 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home is the perfect seaside retreat for those wanting to move closer to the surf and sand, in readiness for the hot Perth summer.

A welcoming open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is light, bright and spacious, playing host to low-maintenance timber-look floors, stainless-steel bench tops and matching stainless-steel range-hood, Bosch gas-cooktop, Bosch-oven and Arc-dishwasher appliances. Split-system air-conditioning and gas-bayonet heating make this a wonderful space to relax and unwind in, all year round.

An enclosed indoor-outdoor sunroom off here acts as a breezeway between the living room and a fabulous back patio. The patio encouraging tranquil covered entertaining outside, to a picturesque backdrop of amazing ocean views and sunsets over our famous Rottnest Island – across the Terrace.

Back inside, all three bedrooms are graced by easy-care wood-look floors and built-in wardrobes – including a larger master that also allows you to wake up to a splendid sea vista in the distance. Another spacious paved courtyard out front captures all of the natural morning sunlight and wraps around to the side drying area, as well as the main alfresco at the back of the property.

Enjoy the perks of living only footsteps away from majestic walking trails at the “Class A” Star Swamp Bushland Reserve at the end of the street, with cafes, restaurants, medical facilities and bus stops along the vibrant Flora Terrace strip all just walking distance away. The North Beach Shopping Centre and North Beach Primary School are both just around the corner and the Our Lady of Grace Primary School, the spectacular Charles Riley Memorial Reserve playing fields, Trigg Point, the newly-completed Karrinyup Shopping Centre redevelopment and other top educational facilities and even Hillarys Boat Harbour all able to be reached within a matter of minutes. North Beach overview

The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run". The suburb was originally set aside as a timber reserve in the 1860s and then as a quarantine area for camels entering in the 1890s. A number of orchards operated in the area with the only evidence that remains today an old olive tree on Hope Street.

Life in North Beach

Residential styles in North Beach include a mix of holiday dwellings from before and after World War II, some former workers' houses, and modern dwellings. As a residential suburb, North Beach has small shopping areas on the coast and at Flora Terrace and Castle Street which offer basic commercial services. The suburb features a tennis club and has two primary schools - North Beach Primary School and Our Lady of Grace School.
