This solidly-built 3 bedroom 1 bathroom double-brick-and-tile home in a tranquil pocket of North Beach is on the market for the first time and offers plenty of scope for you and your loved ones to add your own personal modern touches throughout, where you see fit.

Backing on to the North Beach Bowling Club and nestled just footsteps away
from the local tennis club, the sprawling Charles Riley Memorial Reserve and
even Our Lady of Grace Primary School, this home possesses a functional floor plan and also sits within easy walking distance of pristine natural bushland, a series of beautiful beaches and even snorkelling and swimming in the iconic calm lagoon that is Mettams Pool.

Double driveway gates secure the front yard that is largely paved and plays host to a single carport. A carpeted open-plan formal lounge and dining room welcomes you inside and offers a fantastic second living option away from the meals area and adjacent kitchen and family space.

The kitchen itself comprises of Chef gas-cooktop and oven appliances, whilst the family room is kept comfortable all year round by split-system air-conditioning and a gas bayonet for heating. The spacious master-bedroom suite has a ceiling fan, walk-in wardrobe and semi-ensuite access through to a fully-tiled bathroom with a shower, separate bathtub, heat lamps and powder vanity.

Outdoors and off the family area lies a delightful patio, providing covered entertaining and protection from the elements. The paved backyard is somewhat of a “blank canvas” that can be whatever you want it to be – a secluded garden sanctuary or a dream future alfresco, it’s up to your creative juices to decide.

Stroll to the Kitchener Street Deli around the corner, as well as wonderful community sporting facilities, bus stops and more. You will also love living close to picturesque bushland walking trails (at both Trigg and Star Swamp), cafes, restaurants, North Beach Shopping Centre, North Beach Primary School, the vibrant Flora Terrace precinct, the Hamersley Public Golf Course revamp and even the new-look Karrinyup Shopping Centre.

With an amazing coastal location and a unique opportunity available to you, there is absolutely no limit to what can be achieved here, beyond the front gates!

North Beach overview

The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run". The suburb was originally set aside as a timber reserve in the 1860s and then as a quarantine area for camels entering in the 1890s. A number of orchards operated in the area with the only evidence that remains today an old olive tree on Hope Street.

Life in North Beach

Residential styles in North Beach include a mix of holiday dwellings from before and after World War II, some former workers' houses, and modern dwellings. As a residential suburb, North Beach has small shopping areas on the coast and at Flora Terrace and Castle Street which offer basic commercial services. The suburb features a tennis club and has two primary schools - North Beach Primary School and Our Lady of Grace School.
