RARE RIVER FRONT OPPORTUNITY

River front land is rare at any stage, let alone 5105m2 of it, yes that is over 1 acre! Add to this the fact that there is farmland as your northern neighbour and a reserve on the other side of the river, so there is feeling of seclusion and yet you are basically under 2 minutes from the centre of PInjarra! Its hard to believe something like this exists!

A 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom character cottage with polished timber floors and high ceilings with a separate self contained 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom off the back just for good measure. 2 large sheds with the rear shed having three phase power connected. This property really offers so much and once its gone it will likely be a long time before you see anything remotely similar again!

Pinjarra overview

The townsite of Pinjarra is located in the south west agricultural region, 87 km south of Perth and 21 km south east of Mandurah. It is located near a ford over the Murray River, and land was reserved for a townsite here in 1831. Surveys were carried out in 1836 and land allocated to settlers in 1837. The name was often shown spelt "Pinjarrup" on early maps, and the accepted spelling for many years was "Pinjarrah". There are conflicting theories regarding the meaningof this Aboriginal name. It is usually said to mean "place of a swamp", but it is more likely named after the "Pindjarup" tribe, the Aboriginal group that frequented this area.
