The pump we use is a Stratco Jet pressure pump 53L. That takes water from the 5000gal or the 1300gal to the shed/taps.
The 2000gal tanks we reserve for the sheep. We transfer water to the main sheep tank that feeds the water trough when it gets low with a hose from the tap outside the main shed. In winter the higher 2000gal is either full or is filled from the shed roof and transferred to the lower 2000gal.
The pasture is couch with a mix of other vegetation plus wild oats. The couch is there year-round. In summer the sheep have green pick to eat apart from dry vegetation. The land has been cropped in the past but not for a number of years.
