Set against a backdrop of the Australian bush and designed to make the most of its serene setting, this picturesque Mahogany Creek property has a certain sense of magic about it. Built-in 1987, and sprawled across a 1,820sqm block this generous 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home has been designed with entertaining in mind. The home is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and takes on a peaceful life of its own with a private half tennis court, below ground pool, cabana-style patio and freestanding shed with 3-phase power available.
A formal lounge peels off to the left of the entry way and is bathed in natural light throughout the day. As you make your way through the home, the floor plan spills onto an open plan living space. Here an entertainer's kitchen overlooks a spacious meals area before stepping into a separate games room at the back of the home.
The master suite offers a quiet space to retreat at the end of the day and comes complete with a walk-in robe and stylish ensuite bathroom. The secondary bedrooms are plus sized, offering built-in robes and have access to an updated bathroom. A walkway through the side of the kitchen reveals a home office with its own entry point from the carport. Those operating home businesses will see the value here.

This suburb takes its name from Mahogany Creek, a picturesque tributary of Jane Brook which flows through the area. The creek was known by this name as early as 1830, and takes its name from the towering forest through which it flowed (mahogany was the early colonial name for Jarrah). This place is well known from "The Old Mahogany Inn" located here, an early colonial wayside inn, formerly known as the "Prince of Wales" Inn. The area was developed as orchard land in the 1890's, and a railway stopping place was established here in 1891.
Mahogany Creek is located within the Perth Hills and is part of the Shire of Mundaring. Facilities include Brown Park Main Hall, Mahogany Creek Hall and Danny Wimperus Reserve including a kids playground. This suburb is a close drive to Mundaring Village Shopping Centre and relies on neighbouring suburbs for primary and secondary schools.
