This two-bedroom apartment really is riverside living as you're just metres from the tranquil Swan River - except without the riverside price tag.
River views aside, you're going to love living here as you have cycling/walking trails, parks, lakes, reserves, public transport and many sporting facilities on your doorstep. You're moments from the heart of Perth's CBD, Maylands Public Golf Course, Maylands Yacht Club, the Maylands café and shopping strip, local supermarkets and specialty shops, main arterial roads, Edith Cowan University (Mt Lawley campus), public and private schools, the airport, Ascot Racecourse, HBF Park, Optus Stadium and the Crown Entertainment Complex.
Occupying 77sqm, what is particularly appealing about this ground-floor apartment is your own patio and the green space directly in front of you facing the river. Inside you have two bright and airy spacious bedrooms, a modern bathroom and kitchen, and open/plan living and dining flowing outdoors.
Situated in a well-maintained brick and tile 1970s complex, this apartment won't remain on the market for long - especially in this location and at this price point. This is perfect for first home buyers, downsizers, busy professionals, FIFO workers and investors who recognise an opportunity when they see one.

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.
The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.
Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
