Nothing says home like the smell of baking. And with your lip-smacking new kitchen, life is guaranteed to be super sweet in this deliciously presented dish. Bon appetit.
Ready to tempt your taste buds?
Follow your heart straight to the fridge. Or in this case, right to the back of this tranquil riverside group, just a scone’s throw from the gorgeous Swan River. Seasoned with love, you’ll relish in the birdlife that surrounds this beautiful garden unit - although you may never eat duck again. The open plan dining/living with its new bamboo flooring and undercover alfresco are an entertainer’s delight. Or indulge in and savour it all to yourself. The two decent-sized bedrooms and great-sized bathroom will satiate any appetite, but it’s the kitchen that’s the true centrepiece of this home. The stone benchtops and tiled splashback provide the perfect backdrop for all your drool-worthy, food porn shots. And best yet there are no dining time limits. You just need to teach Alexa to unstack the dishwasher.
Location wise it’s a quacker. You’re less than 50m to the riverside walk/cycle path and approx 250m to Peninsula Farm and its pop-up cafe. It’s 250m to the nearest bus stop and only 200m to Noggos for your fried chicken and french toast fix. Drowned in maple syrup of course (ask us about the shortcut). If you can drag yourself from your alfresco, Maylands Peninsula Golf Course, which is an approx 1km drive or a 400m walk via the old brickworks, do great dinner specials at their Swanbank Cafe, or you can take yourself the 2.5k’s up the road to arguably Perth’s most eclectic and best social precinct. Your life, you choose. Bliss.

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.
The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.
Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
