What we love
Crystal-clear views of our sparkling Indian Ocean waters from the private elevated backyard of this fantastic rear 3 bedroom 1 bathroom brick-and-tile home that is as solid as they come and sits just footsteps away from both North Beach and the majestic “Class A” Star Swamp Bushland Reserve. Also out back lies a delightful pitched patio for tranquil entertaining with a picturesque ocean backdrop and a café/shade blind, right beside lush green lawns and established easy-care gardens. The patio can be seamlessly accessed via a spacious – and welcoming – front lounge room inside, boasting quality low-maintenance timber-look flooring, just like the adjacent dining area.

Charming brickwork graces a stylishly-renovated kitchen with modern stone bench tops, tiled splashbacks and stainless-steel range-hood, gas-cooktop and oven appliances. The laundry (complete with outdoor access) has also been cleverly revamped, as has a sleek, white, fully-tiled bathroom that comprising of a huge walk-in rain shower. All three bedrooms are carpeted for complete comfort and have built-in wardrobes – including a larger master where a central make-up/pamper nook (with a mirrored) separates “his and hers” built-in robes either side.

What to know
All of the hard work has already been done for you here, meaning all you have to do is simply bring your belongings and move straight on in. Extras include a side-access gate to the yard from the lovely front verandah, a rear garden/tool shed, feature timber-trim skirting boards, doorways and ceiling cornices, a security-alarm system, split-system air-conditioning to all rooms and a log fireplace with a striking brick feature wall in the front lounge. There is also a single lock-up garage with a roller door for good measure.

Only metres separate your front doorstep from Flora Terrace’s vibrant food and coffee strip, whilst a close proximity to bus stops and the nearby local dog beach are complemented by a leisurely stroll to North Beach Primary School, North Beach Plaza Shopping Centre, the sprawling Charles Riley Memorial Reserve playing fields, Hamersley Pool and more. Also just minutes away are the likes of Our Lady of Grace Primary School, Trigg Beach, the exciting Karrinyup Shopping Centre redevelopment, Hamersley Public Golf Course, the prestigious Lake Karrinyup Country Club, Sorrento Quay and Hillarys Boat Harbour. An enviable lock-up-and-leave lifestyle in a very desirable location – this is exactly the property you have been searching for!

North Beach overview

The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run". The suburb was originally set aside as a timber reserve in the 1860s and then as a quarantine area for camels entering in the 1890s. A number of orchards operated in the area with the only evidence that remains today an old olive tree on Hope Street.

Life in North Beach

Residential styles in North Beach include a mix of holiday dwellings from before and after World War II, some former workers' houses, and modern dwellings. As a residential suburb, North Beach has small shopping areas on the coast and at Flora Terrace and Castle Street which offer basic commercial services. The suburb features a tennis club and has two primary schools - North Beach Primary School and Our Lady of Grace School.
