PICTURE PERFECT CHARACTER COTTAGE ON CRAWFORD

OVER 70 GROUPS THROUGH IN LESS THAN 2 WEEKS ON MARKET, SOLD WITH MULTIPLE OFFERS PRESENTED! For further information call Shaun on 0466 822 050.

Shaun Pratt of Bellcourt Mount Lawley is ecstatic to present to you this gorgeously renovated character home located on highly sought after Crawford Road!

Pretty as a picture and set behind a quintessential white picket fence, this circa 1917 piece of history is absolutely stunning and will take your breath away. From the fragrant gardens providing a welcoming entry, to the gorgeous bull-nosed verandah, leadlight windows either side of the front door... first impressions are amazing, however, once you enter the home you'll continue to be impressed!

Situated on a full 556sqm green-title lot, with bitumised rear laneway access for secure undercover parking, this property is zoned R40 and holds the added bonus of subdivision potential should you so wish (STCA)!

Featuring stunning timber floors throughout, high ceilings and ornate cornices and ceiling roses, the character and warmth of this home is undeniable. Featuring a spectacular kitchen with stone benchtops, waterfall edge and high-end appliances, the outlook from the kitchen and connection to the massive elevated deck patio is pure perfection. The lounge room has it's own gas fireplace and is incredibly welcoming. The two bedrooms are great in size and include built-in-robes. The bathroom is modern, with extra large shower and hidden European-laundry with plenty of storage.

Walking onto the back patio is a real wow factor, with elevated views over the treetops and the beautifully landscaped backyard. If space for the kids to run around or just the feeling of extra space (which is becoming incredibly difficult to find in the inner-suburbs) is important, than this will definitely take your fancy!

Character homes of this quality are becoming harder and harder to find, make sure to swoop on this opportunity. Another opportunity like this is unlikely to arise any time soon.

For further information please do not hesitate to contact me (Shaun Pratt of Bellcourt Mount Lawley) on 0466 822 050 or [email protected] - I look forward to seeing you at the home open!

Maylands overview

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.

The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.

Life in Maylands

Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
