What we love
Is a commanding street-front position and a premium parkside cul-de-sac setting, nestled only minutes away from a glorious stretch of surf and sand between Trigg Beach and the wonderful Hillarys Boat Harbour. This spacious 4 bedroom 3 bathroom two-storey residence has its very own driveway and is headlined by a beautifully-tiled open-plan living, dining and kitchen area downstairs, leading out to open and covered rear entertaining decks that splendidly overlook a lovely courtyard-come-grassed area. The modern kitchen itself oozes class in the form of sparkling stone bench tops, sleek white cabinetry, a stainless-steel dishwasher and quality matching stainless-steel range-hood, gas-cooktop and oven appliances.

The pick of the bedrooms is a carpeted upstairs master suite with a “his and hers” walk-in wardrobe, a sumptuous ensuite bathroom (with a free-standing bathtub, shower, toilet and twin vanities) and access out on to a fantastic balcony that shares its sensual sea breezes with the adjacent theatre room, 5th bedroom or parents’ retreat – you decide. Back downstairs, you will find a second or “guest” bedroom suite with its own walk-in wardrobe and ensuite/third bathroom, comprising of a shower, separate bathtub, toilet and vanity. With an impressive floor plan that is brilliant in both its functionality and versatility, what’s there not to love, here?

What to know
The third and fourth lower-level bedrooms both have built-in robes and are split by a linen press and the main bathrooms’ shower, toilet and powder vanity. There is a double storage pantry and custom drawers in the kitchen, whilst a double broom cupboard can be found in the adjacent laundry – alongside built-in under-stair storage. Extras include ducted air-conditioning, feature ceiling cornices, skirting boards and a double lock-up garage with a storage area and internal shopper’s entry.

A short walk separates your front doorstep from the Hamersley Public Golf Course, the “Class A” Star Swamp Bushland Reserve, bus stops and quality community sporting facilities at the revamped Charles Riley Memorial Reserve, whilst the likes of North Beach Primary School, Our Lady of Grace Primary School, North Beach Shopping Centre and seaside cafes and restaurants are also within arm’s reach. Throw in a very close proximity to the local tennis and bowling clubs, the iconic Mettams Pool, the new-look Karrinyup Shopping Centre, the prestigious Lake Karrinyup Country Club, Scarborough Beach, St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School, the freeway, Stirling Train Station and other top educational facilities and you will soon be smiling from ear to ear.

North Beach overview

The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run". The suburb was originally set aside as a timber reserve in the 1860s and then as a quarantine area for camels entering in the 1890s. A number of orchards operated in the area with the only evidence that remains today an old olive tree on Hope Street.

Life in North Beach

Residential styles in North Beach include a mix of holiday dwellings from before and after World War II, some former workers' houses, and modern dwellings. As a residential suburb, North Beach has small shopping areas on the coast and at Flora Terrace and Castle Street which offer basic commercial services. The suburb features a tennis club and has two primary schools - North Beach Primary School and Our Lady of Grace School.
