Fab renovation puts this one way ahead of the rest.

What we love:
On the corner of Edinboro and Baden streets and surrounded by lush lawns and leafy Jacaranda trees, this recently renovated two-bedroom apartment is perfect for the first home buyer, as a city second home, for the investor or the downsizer, in fact anyone looking for an easy-care home in a great location with the shops, bars and cafes of trendy Mt Hawthorn an easy walk away.

The Diana apartments as they are known, have just two levels and this one is on the upper floor with a roomy balcony overlooking the pretty grounds, perfect for that Sunday morning coffee enjoying the quiet.

You’ll enter your home into the open-plan living, dining and kitchen and notice the quality of this renovation straight away. The lounge and bedrooms are carpeted and in the living space, the deep colour contrasts beautifully with the lighter, gloss kitchen floor tile. You’ll love the modern kitchen which has loads of cupboard and drawer space and on-trend stainless steel oven.

From the lounge slide open those big glass doors to the balcony and enjoy the view across Joondanna and the Jacarandas.

The bathroom sits between the two bedrooms and great design means there’s a big corner shower. This is a modern bathroom, featuring a big wall mirror and white cabinetry and wall tiles, contrasted against a darker floor tile.

Both bedrooms are light and bright, the master suite featuring built-in robes with mirrored doors.

Joondanna overview

The first of the northern suburbs which were born in the post War period of the 1940s was Joondanna. Originally named Joondanna Heights, Joondanna was chosen after the Perth Road Board launched a competition to find a suitable name in 1939. The competition was won by Mrs A Curtis of Donnybrook who suggested Joondanna as this was the name given by a Mr. Banks to his property. He is believed to have been the first settler and owner of land in the area.
