Long-Term Family Living

This is a family home through and through. It's been with the same owners since it was built in 1989 and now that the kids have flown the nest, it's time for a new family to make memories in it. It retains many of its gorgeous original features such as leadlight windows and raked pine ceilings, but has also been well taken care of over the years with upgrades and makeovers such as an extension and new modern ensuite.

Feel at home from the moment you step through the front door. The term 'formal entry' belies the comfort and charm of this area, which opens into the dining room with its cosy wood fire, and then through to the living room - a beautiful space with big windows and doors that open out to the patio. Enjoy cooler days indoors and simply admire the outlook, or make the most of warmer months and take meals outside while local wildlife visit the pond and surrounding gardens.

It's enormous and will make them feel like rulers of their own domain! Nearby you'll find parks and reserves for those rare times they'll want to venture further afield. Mundaring overview

Permanent settlement in Mundaring began in 1882-84 when Mr Peter Gugeri established a vineyard south of the Eastern Railway. The first railway siding at Mundaring was named after him and for some years the area was generally known as "Gugeris". A later settler, M H Jacoby, took over Gugeris' vineyards in 1893, and named the business the "Mundaring Vineyard Company". The name came from an Aboriginal camp situated nearby and the meaning given to Jacoby by the aborigines was "a high place on a high place". The correct pronunciation was "Mundahring" but common usage has gradually converted this to "Mundairing".
