Timeless, Quality And Style

Welcome to the warmth & uniqueness of this beautifully appointed, craftsman built,
4 x 2 family home, tucked away at the top of a rise in a quiet cul-de-sac.
The elegant entrance hall has high ceilings & quality jarrah floorboards, leading seamlessly through french doors into the stunning living, dining & kitchen area, complete with cedar lined pavilion ceilings & a feature jarrah bush pole, which supports this incredible structure.
The kitchen is large & well appointed, with solid timber bench tops & cupboards, contrasting beautifully with the magnificent ceiling & jarrah floors. The oven & microwave are cleverly tucked away behind a solid timber panelled door.
There is a slow combustion heater built in to the rustic style fireplace which is a real magnet & welcome feature of the living area in winter, keeping it cosy & warm. There is also a split system for total convenience.
Large sliding doors & windows allow easy access to the extensive decking, which almost surrounds this lovely home. Take advantage of the glorious views to the Darling Scarp & watch the sunrise, or just spend time relaxing with a cuppa in your favourite chair.
The rear deck is large yet private & perfect for social gatherings, or simply watching the colourful sun sets. The setting is complete with a large in-deck spa.
The master bedroom is huge with a generous size walk-in robe, ensuite & it’s own split system & has a lovely calm, relaxed feel.
All other bedrooms are of queen size, with either walk-in robes or floor to ceiling built-in cupboards. There is a separate wing through french doors, off the generous sized hallway, containing 2 of the bedrooms, plus a spacious living area, perfect for visiting guests, or as a fantastic teenage retreat. This area has a split system, direct access to the family bathroom & also it’s own entry off a private deck, along a pathway through the pretty native gardens.
The home office, situated just off the hallway near the front entry, has a feature timber panelled wall, cedar blinds, as do all the bedrooms & is large enough for 2 workstations if required.
The laundry is big & well equipped with plenty of built in cupboards & has direct access to the rear patio area.
The undercroft garaging is huge. Plenty of room for cars, workshop & toys, is very secure & has its own ablutions. There is also plenty of parking in the driveway for several cars, a trailer, or even a mobile home!

This property is beautifully presented & oozes elegant, country, rustic style. All credit must go to the current owners who have respectfully preserved the unique character of this “one of a kind” family home.

Eaton overview

Eaton is a suburban area located on the banks of the Collie River six kilometres from Bunbury. In 1949 the island in the Collie River opposite Eaton was named Eaton Island, because its original name, Alexander Island, was duplicated. Eaton was nominated by the Bunbury Road Board in honour of Mr Foster Eaton, the late fisheries and game inspector for this area. The name was given in recognition of work he had done in the area. When urban development was commenced in the area in 1951, it was at first referred to as the Collie River Estate, but was soon changed to Eaton due to its proximity to Eaton Island.
