Timeless Elegance

Elegance in simplicity has desirable meaning in this contemporary home with a hint of modern extravagance, balanced with luxury textures and rich finishings.

A colour palette of white, grey, black and patterned highlights make the open plan living space very desirable. The light-filled area embraces the northern aspect with glass doors opening to the front and back alfresco spaces. A Morso cast iron wood burner stands tall in the corner providing warmth in the cooler months with ducted air conditioning and ceiling fans for the warmer months.

The sleek galley style kitchen boasts timeless elegance with a unique tiled splashback and pendant lighting framing the entire kitchen. The elegant combination compliment the Asko dishwasher, 900ml Westinghouse induction cooktop and oven, soft closing drawer system, Caesarstone benchtops and impressive butlers pantry. A European laundry is hidden behind mirrored black sliding doors and finishes off this space beautifully.

Beyond the living area, two queen-sized bedrooms, a separate bathroom, toilet and main bedroom occupy the back end of the home. The rooms are spacious and feature plush charcoal carpets, built-in wardrobes and ceiling fans. The main bedroom with double ensuite boasts two large walk-in closets, carpet and ceiling fan.

The undercover alfresco, accessible from the living area, is finished with exposed aggregate and cafe blinds-the quiet and peaceful space overlooks the impeccable lawn and meticulous gardens, with gated access to the front of the home.

This stunning home embraces a striking interior of traditional elements with subtle artistic highlights. Located on the eastern side of Margaret River in Riverslea across from Darch brook, Cidergum Loop is close to local walk trails whilst being only minutes drive to the Margaret River town centre.

Margaret River overview

The townsite of Margaret River is located in the south west agricultural area, 277 kilometres south southwest of Perth and 48 kilometres south southwest of Busselton. It is located on the Margaret River from which it derives its name. The precise origin of the naming of the river is not known, but it was possibly named by John Bussell in honour of Margaret Wyche, a friend in England who was expected to follow the Bussell's to Australia. The name is first shown on a map of the region published in 1839.

In 1910 the Margaret River Progress Association wrote to the Minister for Lands requesting a townsite be declared at "the Upper Margaret Bridge". The reason given was that "the district is likely to be dotted with public buildings several miles apart in the near future if a townsite is not made available shortly". The District Surveyor who inspected the area preferred an area near the lower bridge on Caves Road, but this land was not available. Lots were surveyed in 1912, and the Townsite of Margaret River gazetted in 1913. In 1918 the name of the townsite was changed to "Margaret", but it was changed back to Margaret River in 1927, due to local usage of the name always being Margaret River.
