Benefitting from breathtaking city views whilst occupying a private rear top-floor position within a secure near-new complex of just 12 residences in the heart of Maylands, this boutique one-bedroom one-bathroom apartment truly does offer quality low-maintenance lock-up-and-leave living for professionals and down-sizer types alike.

Impeccable floor tiling graces the welcoming open-plan living, dining and kitchen area where sparkling stone bench tops, double Abey sinks, sleek white cabinetry, tiled splashbacks, split-system air-conditioning and feature down lighting meet high-end Bosch appliances in the form of a gas cooktop, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Full-height sliding stacker doors provide a seamless integration between inside and out, extending entertaining out to a spacious balcony with outdoor-kitchen provisions in place, as well as a mesmerising panoramic vista to sit back and indulge in – encompassing Perth's rolling hills, our new world-class Optus Stadium at Burswood, the famous WACA ground and the picturesque city skyline itself.

The sole bedroom is carpeted for comfort and sits just inches away from a fully-tiled bathroom-come-laundry with stone bench tops of its own, a separate powder vanity, a large feature rain shower, an Everhard wash trough and a toilet – plus a Bosch washer/dryer for good measure. Behind the privacy of an electric gate at the front of the development lies an allocated under-cover carport space, your own lock-up storeroom and three visitor-parking bays for guests.

Situated just one street back from The RISE recreation and community centre and the Maylands Public Library, within walking distance of bus stops, Maylands Train Station, restaurants and shopping and so close to the Maylands Yacht Club, lush parklands bordering our beautiful Swan River, the Maylands Peninsula Public Golf Course, educational facilities, the Crown Casino and the buzzing entertainment hotspots of Mount Lawley and Northbridge that precede Perth's own CBD nightlife, this impressive apartment really does find itself positioned right in the thick of where the action is. Maylands overview

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.

The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.

Life in Maylands

Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
