THE PERFECT START TO YOUR HILLS LIFESTYLE

THE PERFECT START TO YOUR NEW HILLS LIFESTYLE!

The ideal time to either nest or invest in this adorable 3 bedroom 1 bathroom property is now, with the potential to add a second storey (subject to Council approvals) boasting stunning Perth city-skyline views over the surrounding treetops simply an added bonus. The residence also backs on to beautiful Greenmount National Park and the Heritage Trail right on the edge of the Darling scarp yet situated just 15 minutes cycle from the centre of Darlington Village – famous for its community life and artistic heritage.

Similar properties in the hills have seen a huge increase in demand – and this one is a very affordable option for to first-time buyers in particular seeking to make the move to the Hills without breaking the bank.

Out front there’s a super-sized deck and entertaining area and spa which looks over the good size lawn and city views, and at the rear there’s a full-length patio too.
Inside, low-maintenance flooring dominates a welcoming lounge room with a pleasant hill outlook, whilst the tiled open-plan kitchen and meals area keeps dining and conversation separate. There, you will find double sinks, modern electric cooking appliances, charming timber cabinetry and access to the back patio. At the front the lounge is well proportioned and also has an original fireplace.

The king size master bedroom at the front of the property also gives views over the city skyline, and like the two others has fully fitted carpets. The master also has its own split-system reverse-cycle air-conditioner for climate control. The bathroom has been renovated and conveniently provides separate bathtub and shower.

Pull up some chairs and a table for sneak-preview of just how good that future city vista would look like from the back of the elevated block.

In terms of convenience, the CBD is just 45 mins by road, Midland is less than 10 minutes drive, and \the Perth domestic or international airport terminals are an easy 20 minute drive. This is what living in the hills is all about!

All offers to be presented by 12 noon Tuesday 8th December 2020. The owner reserves the right to sell at any time.

Boya overview

To supply the stone required to build the groynes at Fremantle Harbour, a Government quarry was established in the hills a little south-west of Darlington. A spur line was run into the quarry from the existing railway and, by July 1901, dozens of iron and hessian huts housing approximately 150 workmen were clustered near the site. In August of 1901, construction began on a railway siding for the use of this settlement and the first name proposed was "Yan-Yeen". This was rejected because of a duplication in Victoria and the Aboriginal word "Boya", appropriately meaning rock/stone, was chosen instead. It was later found that the correct Aboriginal name for the area was "Nyeedoup" but Boya remains appropriate as the Aboriginal sub-tribe who once inhabited the hills were known as "Boya-Ngoora".
