Want a huge block in the best estate in Forrestfield? And a house that will suit the largest of families with the most demanding storage requirements? The Fruit Bowl is going off and it's easy to see why. With its location close to the airport, a short drive to the city and only minutes from our beautiful hills, everything you need is here.

This is a fantastic, classy, upsized 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with all the mod cons, including TOP of the range solar and solar hot water systems, beautiful new large ceramic floor tiles, reverse cycle air conditioning in all the rooms, invisimesh security screens and roller shutters on all the bedrooms. That's a lot of fruit - even for the Fruit Bowl.

You do not often see 765sqm blocks in the Fruit Bowl, but the reality is that this is now even bigger. On the title as 765sqm (approx.), since the noise wall was installed, it has added probably 30 or 40sqm to your yard. Whichever way you look at it, this is some incredible space. The kids and pets will love living here. So yes - it has a noise wall - a quick Google will show you it sits next to the highway, but you have to come and see it and experience it to know that you are getting one heck of a buy here, and it's a lot less bothersome than you might think - in fact, I can show you how to make a feature out of it! The dog isn't jumping over it - that is for sure.

This place has outside storage by the bucket load, a couple of storage areas off the garage which backs onto the patio area as well as a large (unpowered) workshop. Inside there is space in ALL the right places - a massive master with a king bed, a genuine theatre for movie nights, a spacious family and dining area that is central to the home and kitchen with its brand-new upmarket dishwasher and appliances and a games room! The styling is outstanding and while some of the home is still original 2005, it's dated quite well and the changes these owners have made have really elevated the home. What you have here is a very classy property that you could do more to if you wanted, later.

The bedrooms are all very good size and will fit queens. They also all have robes and as mentioned they all have roller shutters to keep out noise or light - or maybe keep it in - this is, after all, a house built for entertaining.

In a fabulous part of the area, opposite a park and on a big block and with all the mod cons, this is incredible buying at this price so come and see it by calling exclusive listing rep Andrew Fisher or send an enquiry through the page and we will respond in super quick time.

Forrestfield overview

Forrestfield is a suburb of the City of kalamunda and is 15 kilometres of the south-east of Perth. Local folklore suggests that the name comes from Charles Hale who settled here in 1902 and planted a crop amongst the trees. A neighbour referred to him wanting a forest and a field at the same time and the name was later applied to the area. A Forrest Field Progress Association was formed as early as 1927 and the name is shown on plans as Forrestfield for 1944.

Life in Forrestfield

Forrestfield is home to the Hartfield Park Recreation Centre which includes an indoor stadium for various sports, an 18-hole golf course, equestrian centre, nature park and lake. The main shopping centre known as the 'Forrestfield Forum and Marketplace' is home to 52 stores. There are a range of other retail establishments scattered throughout the area.

There are also a range of primary and secondary schools in the area and construction is currently underway on the  Forrestfield-Airport Link which is scheduled to open in 2021 and will connect Perth Airport with the city. A Forrestfield train station is included in this development.
