The High Life!

Tranquilly situated at the end of a secluded cul-de-sac setting whilst overlooking Berringa Park and the picturesque outskirts of our beautiful Swan River, this spacious, light-filled and architecturally-designed 4 bedroom 3 bathroom tri-level residence occupies a spectacular elevated position and offers comfortable living for the entire family - and then some.

The wildcard is a self-contained and separate "guest house" at the rear, comprising of a fourth bedroom/granny-flat with short-stay-accommodation (Airbnb) potential and its own open-plan living, meals and kitchenette area that comprises of a sink, storage, split-system air-conditioning and an audio-intercom system. The space wraps around to the bedroom where full-height mirrored built-in robes meet a private ensuite/third bathroom with a shower, toilet and vanity. A large paved back courtyard can also be accessed from here, enjoying views out to the parkland and a cycle path that leads all the way down to Fremantle. Your own back gate leads you direct out to that same path, where you can walk along the river and nature strip, taking in the leafiness and local birdlife at your own leisure.

In between the studio and main house lies a fabulous full-width entertaining alfresco with a lockable storage area. There is also a huge wraparound under-stair storeroom inside, completing the ground-floor features.

At entry level, soaring near-full-height windows benefit from a north-east facing aspect to allow ample natural light to filter in and warm a spacious and sunken formal lounge room, making an instant first impression. The space also looks out to the shimmering solar-heated swimming pool, as do most windows in this part of the residence. A remote-controlled "vergola" complements the pool setting and can be seamlessly accessed from a light and bright open-plan family, dining and kitchen area - separated from the lounge by folding doors.

The main living zone also opens out to a lovely back balcony from where magical sunrises can be witnessed - and where more park views meet tree-lined glimpses of the river. An extra-large kitchen is every chef's dream with its sparkling granite bench tops and splashbacks, breakfast bar, ample built-in storage options, stylish light fittings, two powered appliance nooks and first-class Siemens appliances - inclusive of a stainless-steel range hood, a five-burner gas cooktop, an oven, steam/combo oven, a warming drawer, microwave and integrated dishwasher. Also on this floor is a tiled entry foyer, a built-in study nook/two-person workstation (off the kitchen), a storage cupboard, a separate toilet and powder area and an efficient laundry with built-in storage and access out to a side drying courtyard.

Upstairs, the pick of the main sleeping quarters is a sumptuous master suite - nestled behind double doors off the parents' retreat/sitting area that reveal a granite kitchenette and a king-sized and carpeted bedroom wing. There, mirrored built-in wardrobes and a fitted walk-in robe precede an exemplary fully-tiled ensuite bathroom with a massive double-sized shower, twin "his and hers" granite vanities, city views and a separate toilet. The master also boasts its own large rear balcony with an amazing outlook of the river, the ninth-hole at Maylands Golf Club, Perth's CBD skyline, Optus Stadium and the Crown Towers and casino complex at Burswood - especially at night.

Both spare bedrooms on the top floor are spacious, carpeted for comfort and have mirrored built-in robes. The second bedroom enjoys views to the river, stadium and Crown, whilst the third bedroom has its own small northern balcony to sit back and relax on. The fully-tiled main bathroom has a shower, vanity and separate from the spare top-floor toilet.

Only minutes separate your front doorstep from the Maylands Yacht Club, with bus stops, Maylands Peninsula Public Primary School, the Maylands Peninsula Public Golf Course, lush local parklands, shopping, medical facilities, the Maylands and Mount Lawley Train Stations, Ascot Racecourse, the vibrant Whatley Crescent food and coffee strip, the stadium, the city Perth Airport and so much more only minutes away in their own right. Everything about living here is very special indeed. Luxury, location and lifestyle - it's the complete package!

Maylands overview

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.

The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.

Life in Maylands

Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
