This modern home is characterized by a fresh and crisp all-white exterior and interior, complemented by accents of stone and timber. The exciting north-facing open-plan living area promotes a relaxing living environment throughout the year.

The front entrance of this charming home makes a lasting impression with its elegant granite stone fencing and beautifully landscaped garden beds. A classic timber gate adds a touch of warmth and character, welcoming you into the property. The lengthy grass area leading up to the entrance adds a sense of spaciousness and tranquillity, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment you arrive.

"The well-lit living space includes a U-shaped kitchen with a 700mm Bellissimo Oven featuring a 5-burner gas cooktop, a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher, plenty of cupboard space, and a large pantry. The spacious countertops with a breakfast bar provide a great setting for casual family meals."

The modern open-plan design is timeless, with timber floors and a
neutral colour palette of white, grey and charcoal with timber accents. The slow-combustion wood fire heater and sectioned carpeted area add warmth and comfort throughout winter.

The hallway leads to all three bedrooms, the laundry, and an additional bathroom and toilet. The main bedroom is quite large and includes a spacious walk-in wardrobe, carpeting, and an ensuite. Bedrooms two and three are also roomy and have built-in wardrobes and carpets. Each bedroom has plenty of natural light and offers peaceful garden views.

Entertaining is made easy with the undercover alfresco, sheltered from the elements; the area is accessible via the living room and front entrance. The timber decking extends along the back of the home, providing additional living space with backyard views. The well-kept limestone-retained, low-maintenance gardens and grassed area feature a combination of mature natives and timber-lined veggie boxes.

Margaret River overview

The townsite of Margaret River is located in the south west agricultural area, 277 kilometres south southwest of Perth and 48 kilometres south southwest of Busselton. It is located on the Margaret River from which it derives its name. The precise origin of the naming of the river is not known, but it was possibly named by John Bussell in honour of Margaret Wyche, a friend in England who was expected to follow the Bussell's to Australia. The name is first shown on a map of the region published in 1839.

In 1910 the Margaret River Progress Association wrote to the Minister for Lands requesting a townsite be declared at "the Upper Margaret Bridge". The reason given was that "the district is likely to be dotted with public buildings several miles apart in the near future if a townsite is not made available shortly". The District Surveyor who inspected the area preferred an area near the lower bridge on Caves Road, but this land was not available. Lots were surveyed in 1912, and the Townsite of Margaret River gazetted in 1913. In 1918 the name of the townsite was changed to "Margaret", but it was changed back to Margaret River in 1927, due to local usage of the name always being Margaret River.
