We're all about easy living here in Margaret River and 1 Winton Street has nailed it! Near new and packed to its high ceilings with clever extras, this beautiful home offers comfort and style.
From the extra height garage to the enormous, fully fenced yard, after a day out soaking up the innumerable joys of our Region you'll be pretty darn satisfied returning home to this sanctuary.
Wake up in the master bedroom and step through French doors to the sun-filled courtyard to enjoy your morning cuppa. Get ready for your day in the beautiful en-suite bathroom with elegant tile work and feature window.
Head on through to the grand, open plan living area that flows onto the north facing backyard. A massive, fan-forced wood burner is central to this area where cosy times are waiting to be shared. The kitchen is to the western side, and gets bathed in evening sunsets thanks to the long, feature window. A servery window opens onto the entertaining deck to the north and a separate scullery keeps appliances hidden away (not to mention the ubiquitous drinks fridge!). Designed to maximise bench space, the kitchen has loads of soft-close drawers; brilliant, solid stone benchtops; and wide oven and cooktop.
The three minor bedrooms are clustered at the front of the home off a hallway from the living area. This part of the home also features the laundry with exterior door, and lovely family bathroom with bathtub and separate shower. All bedrooms are generous with extra-wide, sliding mirror door robes; and one has been designed with a full length window that may be changed to a doorway allowing separate access - this whole wing can then be sectioned off to make an independent living space.
Multi-fit downlighting and stylish light fittings (some dimmable) add to the fabulous feel of this home. Back in the open-plan living, the dining table is central and another lounge area is to the east.
Finally, come on through to the wonderful backyard…the extra high alfresco with downlights over the full-length deck makes outdoor living a joy. You'll spend many great times out here sharing meals and there's so much space for kids and pets to run and play that a lot of the time you won't even feel the need to leave your castle!

The townsite of Margaret River is located in the south west agricultural area, 277 kilometres south southwest of Perth and 48 kilometres south southwest of Busselton. It is located on the Margaret River from which it derives its name. The precise origin of the naming of the river is not known, but it was possibly named by John Bussell in honour of Margaret Wyche, a friend in England who was expected to follow the Bussell's to Australia. The name is first shown on a map of the region published in 1839.
In 1910 the Margaret River Progress Association wrote to the Minister for Lands requesting a townsite be declared at "the Upper Margaret Bridge". The reason given was that "the district is likely to be dotted with public buildings several miles apart in the near future if a townsite is not made available shortly". The District Surveyor who inspected the area preferred an area near the lower bridge on Caves Road, but this land was not available. Lots were surveyed in 1912, and the Townsite of Margaret River gazetted in 1913. In 1918 the name of the townsite was changed to "Margaret", but it was changed back to Margaret River in 1927, due to local usage of the name always being Margaret River.
