BRAND NEW BUILD IN PREMIUM LOCATION

Set on a generous 539m2 block, in one of Maylands premiere locations, just a few minutes walk from Bardon Park and the river, this exquisite new home is a rare jewel. You will search long and hard to find such a generous new family home on such a large block, so close to the river and within the Mount Lawley Senior High School Zone.

This stunning new build has been expertly crafted and uniquely designed by express living homes. From the spacious entry with study at the front of the home, the house flows down the hall past the powder room and shoppers entry to a cavernous open plan main living area with a large alfresco area under the main roof beyond that.

The kitchen is beautifully appointed with 20mm stone benches throughout, big walk in pantry, double bowl undermounted sink, Fisher & Paykel built-in 900mm gas stainless steel cook top and 900mm electric oven, Smeg extractor fan, Asko dishwasher and industrial chic pendant lights over the huge island bench. Ideal for entertaining or just family meals!

Upstairs is a second generous living area with a separate kitchenette, which could easily be purposed as a bar, multi-generational living, or for independent family members to fix their own snacks. The second bedroom, which is of more than ample size, also includes its own walk in robe. Off the upstairs living area is a large balcony for separate outdoor entertaining, and off the kitchenette you have a walk in linen/pantry/storage. These unique and welcome features give you loads of storage and plenty of options for the future.

This is such a handy and family friendly location, being just 200m from Bardon Park, and close walking distance to the river, the train station and the café strip, and spacious, well appointed new builds on large blocks don’t come up often in Maylands, so make sure you check this one out as soon as possible, we don’t expect it to last!

Maylands overview

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.

The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.

Life in Maylands

Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
