THE DEAL
This substantial renovated family home delivers classic character and modern comfort in one of Menora’s most established pockets. With spacious interiors, quality finishes, and a seamless connection between the main living areas and landscaped gardens, the home is designed for effortless family living, enhanced by the rare addition of a separate, self-contained residence at the rear.
Arrival is via a wide staircase to the covered front veranda, framed by columns and classic white picket fencing. Manicured gardens and mature trees set a welcoming tone, while the grand double front entry with stained glass opens to a defined foyer featuring polished timber floors, ceiling roses, and ornate cornices.
The main living zones are light-filled and refined, with high ceilings, large windows dressed in plantation shutters and sheers, and timber flooring throughout. A central fireplace set against a geometric feature wall anchors the space, while two distinct living areas provide flexibility for both relaxed family living and entertaining. Decorative chandeliers, pendant lighting, feature wall panelling, and curated wallpapers elevate the home’s contemporary appeal.
At the heart of the home, the open-plan kitchen and dining area offers a large central island, ample cabinetry, and neutral stone benchtops. A full-length window frames garden views, while a well-appointed scullery, adjacent laundry, and utility space ensure everyday practicality.
Accommodation comprises generously sized bedrooms, each filled with natural light. Bathrooms are finished to a high standard, featuring walk-in rainfall showers, designer tiling, floating vanities, vessel sinks, and freestanding tubs.
Outdoors, a covered alfresco entertaining area connects to a paved patio and dining deck overlooking raised limestone garden beds and landscaped pathways. Established hedges, a water feature, and lawn areas create a private and tranquil setting, all framed by secure fencing and established greenery.
Completing the offering is a separate one-bedroom, self-contained unit at the rear, with its own private access and dedicated parking. Ideal for multigenerational living, guest accommodation, or as a secondary income stream, it adds a layer of flexibility and long-term value rarely found.

The suburb of Menora grew out of a large area generally referred to as Mount Lawley. In 1954, the Nomenclature Advisory Committee, working with the Postmaster General established suburb names and boundaries for the inner metropolitan area. The area of Menora was considered unnamed, and Menora was chosen as the name because of the Menora Picture Theatre located in Walcott Street within the area.
Menora is home to a large Jewish community, the heart of which is the Perth Hebrew Congregation. It is close to the Carmel Jewish School and other Kosher facilities such as the Kosher Food Centre and Besh Fresh cafe. A Jewish synagogue was opened on Plantation Street in 1973 and remains a significant spiritual focus for Perth's Jewish community.
The suburb contains some commercial ribbon development along Walcott Street, which allows local residents to access retail services. Other facilities include a large number of public open space reserves and several pocket parks, Saint Paul's Primary School and several homes for senior citizens.
