The Hidden Gem You Never Even Knew Existed!

Enjoying a lovely street-front position in one of the most ultra-convenient locations you will ever come across, this delightfully-elevated 3 bedroom 2 bathroom split-level residence will both charm and impress you in more ways than one.

A generous front yard beyond a gated entrance is graced by low-maintenance artificial turf and a pond – or potential firepit – in the middle. It really is the perfect place for the kids to run around safely, without a worry in the world.

Downstairs, the entry level plays host to a sunken open-plan family and dining area where split-system air-conditioning, a gas bayonet for heating and built-in media and storage cabinetry meet a cleverly-renovated kitchen with ample cupboard space, glass splashbacks, double sinks, quality Corian bench tops, an AEG dishwasher, a stainless-steel range hood, a five-burner gas cooktop and a Technika oven. From here, outdoor access to a private rear entertaining patio is rather seamless – your own breezy sanctuary with stylish concrete floors bordered by pleasant leafy gardens and overlooking a sunken north-facing backyard with excellent light throughout most of the day.

On the middle floor, both spare bedrooms are carpeted for comfort, have built-in wardrobes, allow you to wake up to gorgeous leafy aspects and are serviced by a linen press, a separate modernised toilet and a contemporary main bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub – all nearby. The entire upper level very much doubles as a “parent’s retreat” with a light and bright lounge room and a sublime master suite both afforded access out to a stunning back balcony deck with breathtaking inland views over the neighbourhood treetops and beyond.

Joondanna overview

The first of the northern suburbs which were born in the post War period of the 1940s was Joondanna. Originally named Joondanna Heights, Joondanna was chosen after the Perth Road Board launched a competition to find a suitable name in 1939. The competition was won by Mrs A Curtis of Donnybrook who suggested Joondanna as this was the name given by a Mr. Banks to his property. He is believed to have been the first settler and owner of land in the area.
