It’s two levels of renovated love that feel like one light and bright hug. Plus it’s a street-front home with a secure garage/carport (only common wall) with private shoppers' entry and great-sized private rear courtyard. Winning. Generous proportions. Elevated aspect. Fab-sized kitchen with stone benchtops. Handy downstairs loo. Main bedroom with a gorgeous outlook. BIG outdoor entertaining area. The list goes on. All the comforts and all the feels. Move-in ready. Nothing to spend or do. Except decide if you’re eating in or heading out. No rush. Plenty of time to choose.
Location wise it’s near-city living at its very best. You’re 200m to the start of Bardon Park and 500m, if that, to the edge of the Swan River. Follow the Tony di Cerni pathway and in less than 3km you’ll be in Claisebrook Cove. Or cross the walkway over the river to Optus Stadium and The Camfield. The #42 bus to the City is within 90m. The start of the Maylands Social Precinct is a mere 750m stroll. There you’ll find Seasonal Brewing Co., M Coffee, Rosso Nero Pizza, and a host of other cafes, eateries, retail outlets, and small bars. Try Henry on Eighth & Swallow. BONUS - It’s also in the Mount Lawley SHS catchment. Homestyle, lifestyle, what’s not to love?

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.
The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.
Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
