Introducing David and Martine Eyers.
Husband and wife team David and Martine Eyers bring extensive experience in sales, marketing, customer service and management systems to real estate.
Before joining the real estate industry David worked for 12 years in a senior management role for Coles Myer and then at BankWest, managing three branches, Cottesloe, Nedlands and Claremont.
After completing a science degree, Martine taught for three years before moving into a sales role for an international pharmaceuticals company. She later moved into a management position, training representatives in product knowledge and sales, as well as assisting in the development of the company's marketing strategies.
Their love of real estate led to a move into property sales where their backgrounds in finance, management, sales, negotiating and marketing have been extremely beneficial. They regularly feature in the REIWA Top 10 By Value Sold and have been also been responsible for the marketing of several development and off-the-plan projects, including Perry Lakes for Landcorp.
"We've found real estate to be very fulfilling. We are helping people at times in their lives when they are making major decisions and to know that you've helped them get the best price the market will pay, or find the ideal new home is very rewarding.”
As well as their prior experience, David and Martine say team work has played an important part in their success: their role as a husband and wife team, the team they have built to provide a higher level of service, and their place in the ACTON Dalkeith and ACTON Cottesloe team.
"It's quite rare to have two qualified salespeople working together; more often than not it's a salesperson and a personal assistant. Having two salespeople, particularly a husband and wife team, working on your behalf offers a range of benefits.
"For example, if you have a large number of people at a home open, one can meet people and take their details, while the other can work with potential buyers. Also some people prefer to work with a woman rather than a man, or vice versa, and with us you have that choice."
David and Martine have also expanded their team to include a personal assistant, and a buyer management specialist, to ensure their clients receive the ultimate real estate service. Being a part of the ACTON Dalkeith/ACTON Cottesloe alliance is also a major advantage.
"ACTON are the market leaders in the area. We are part of the biggest team in the Western Suburbs and there is a lot of collaboration between our offices. Buyers are not area specific, so there is no focus on an agent only working in one particular suburb; we work the region and work together to get the best possible result for all our clients."
