Mike is a long-term resident of Kalgoorlie-Boulder having moved from Perth in 1988 to take up a teaching position at Eastern Goldfields High school. Five years later he transferred to the South West but found it not to his liking so moved on again where after a couple of years he settled into a recently acquired home in what he anticipated would be a long term teaching role in the Northern suburbs of Perth. However just a year later, he found himself in a forced transfer position and much to the surprise of friends and family, decided to return to the Goldfields and to settle back into its familiar red dust surrounds, re-establish past friendships and make amends for missed opportunities during his previous stay.
In the following years he became increasingly focussed on developing his own property portfolio and acquired several rental properties in town.
After nearly 20 years in the classroom, Mike left teaching to pursue his growing interest in the property industry and soon found his niche in the Commercial property sector in which he has achieved considerable success working with a broad range of clients and properties for more than 10 years.
Mike has an extraordinary understanding of all aspects of the local property market and works hard to assist his clients to achieve the best possible results in their commercial real estate transactions. An educator at heart, he is always keen to further develop and share his skills and encourage others to do the same.
Outside of real estate, Mike is always busy and can be found spending his time gardening, camping, gold prospecting and manufacturing specialist prospecting headphones.'
