THE HOME

Check out Google maps, this location speaks for itself! 500m to the beach, 300m to Trigg Bushland (approx.) and even less to Charles Riley Reserve. You have nature's playground at your fingertips with incredible activities for all members of the family. And, no more fighting for parking along the coast!

Set on 506sqm, three bedrooms, a bathroom and huge kitchen/ dining provide plenty of space. But the stand out features are the multiple entertaining zones. Home to many warm memories, the front deck and lounge act as a leafy hideaway from festivities out the back, whereas the rear lounge with bi-fold doors lets you connect seamlessly to your alfresco. From the footy to The Batchelor, you won't miss a minute - view right from your BBQ!

Attention parents! Got a runner? Here, you can set them free! Your tiered garden provides the perfect setting for backyard cricket, footy and cartwheel competitions. A whole level of grass is framed by an edible garden - avocados, figs, passionfruit and plums.

Built in the 50's and recently updated, relish your home as-is, or upgrade and add further value. North Beach holds its price and these bones were built to last. This is an excellent opportunity to either enter or downsize in an affluent beachside area without putting a ceiling on your investment. At 34 Kitchener, you can enjoy the fruit of your hard-earned labour both now, and for years to come.

North Beach overview

The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run". The suburb was originally set aside as a timber reserve in the 1860s and then as a quarantine area for camels entering in the 1890s. A number of orchards operated in the area with the only evidence that remains today an old olive tree on Hope Street.

Life in North Beach

Residential styles in North Beach include a mix of holiday dwellings from before and after World War II, some former workers' houses, and modern dwellings. As a residential suburb, North Beach has small shopping areas on the coast and at Flora Terrace and Castle Street which offer basic commercial services. The suburb features a tennis club and has two primary schools - North Beach Primary School and Our Lady of Grace School.
