STREET FRONT LOT - CLOSE TO CAFÉ STRIP

Just 350m walking distance to the café strip, this proposed STREET FRONT SURVEY STRATA LOT is waiting for you to design and build your new dream home on!

Being a nice regular shape with wide street frontage, this is an ideal building lot in an ideal location. I have a list of builders who would love to help you build your dream home on this block!

You will struggle to find a more convenient location between the café strip and the river, and within the Mount Lawley High School Zone, making this is an ideal family and lifestyle location with those river walks, leisurely riverside rides and lazy Sunday breakfasts all just a short stroll away.

Such an affordable, well located and promising building lot is unlikely to last long in one of Perth’s most popular inner-city suburbs, so call me today to discuss your plans! (By the way, I’ve had plans approved for 4 Bedroom 2 Bathroom two storey homes on smaller 160m2 lots on the same street previously, so this is a very practical shape and size for a two storey home.)

Features at a Glance:
• 175m2 SURVEY STRATA BLOCK with 12.18m frontage.
• Street Frontage on East Street (Original front home on Eighth Ave)
• Zoned R50 making 60% site coverage possible (see RCodes).

• 350m from the funky upbeat Maylands Café Strip.
• Less than 6kms from Perth City.

Maylands overview

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.

The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.

Life in Maylands

Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
