Kenwick is a south-eastern suburb of Perth located within the City of Gosnells. A mixture of homes and rural area, Kenwick spans 10 square kilometres with the residential portion of the suburb generally located in the south and the rural sector predominantly in the north. Suburbanisation of Kenwick has been on the incline in recent years with new homes being added to the suburb following a stable period between 2001 and 2006.
Life in Kenwick
Bounded by the Canning River in the south and Tonkin Highway in the east, Kenwick enjoys convenient access to Roe Highway and Albany Highway as well as the Kenwick Railway Station, which connects to the Armadale line. Recreational features of the suburb include tennis courts, a skate park, an oval for cricket and football and the Kenwick Library. Kenwick Village Shopping Centre is a small complex that covers local grocery needs and there are a number of primary schools nearby including East Kenwick Primary School.
