"Seascapes" Footprints, Preston Beach

Two bedrooms, both with queen beds, plus a queen sofa bed in the living area. One bathroom upstairs, and a combined laundry and second toilet downstairs. It sleeps six without anyone drawing the short straw.

The main bedroom is upstairs under a vaulted ceiling, and the second bedroom sits off the living area. Downstairs is open plan, with the kitchen, dining and living running straight out through sliding doors onto a covered timber deck.

The deck is the part people actually use. Shade sail overhead, barbecue, an outdoor lounge setting, and a lawn out front that runs down towards the pool. There are usually kangaroos sitting on it.

It sits next to the car park, which sounds like nothing until you have carried a weekend of food, bedding and boogie boards across a complex. Here you park and you are at the door.

Inside it has been styled properly for the coast. Soft blues and whites, timber floors, and artwork that suits a beach escape rather than a rental.
