    We’re putting the suburb spotlight on North Beach, which experienced strong growth to its annual median house price in the year to March 2017.

    The coastal suburb is located 15 kilometres northwest of the Perth CBD and has a diverse property landscape of houses and units

    House price

    North Beach’s median house price lifted 14.9 per cent to $1 million in the year to March 2017 (based on settled sales as at 3 July).

    To purchase a house in the suburb’s lower quartile price range, you could expect to pay around $753,000, while its upper quartile house price sits at approximately $1.26 million.

    Unit price

    Unit prices in North Beach are considerably more affordable than house prices, with data showing the median unit price in the area is $630,000 (for the year to March 2017, based on settled sales as at 3 July).

    You could expect to purchase a unit for around $510,000 if buying in the suburb’s lower quartile, while its upper quartile unit price sits at $652,500.

    Land price

    For buyers who want to purchase a block of land to build their dream home on, the median land price in North Beach is $502,000.

    The upper and lower quartile land prices in North Beach are set at $646,000 and $483,500 respectively.

    Suburbs close to North Beach include Carine, Trigg and Karrinyup.
