• Suburb spotlight: Nollamara


    We’re putting the suburb spotlight on Nollamara, which recently topped Perth’s top 10 list of the most affordable suburbs within 10 kilometres of the CBD.

    Located north of the Perth CBD, Nollamara is currently undergoing a lot of change, with infill redevelopment rejuvenating the suburb’s property landscape and attracting a lot of first home buyers to the area.

    House price

    The median house price in Nollamara sits at $410,000 for the year to June 2017 (based on settled sales as at 28 August 2017).

    To purchase a house in the suburb’s lower quartile price range, you could expect to pay around $375,000, while its upper quartile house price sits at approximately $460,000 – still well below the Perth metro overall median house price.

    Unit price

    Unit prices in Nollamara are even more affordable for home buyers looking to purchase in the area, with data showing the median unit price is $339,500 (for the year to June 2017, based on settled sales as at 28 August).

    You could expect to purchase a unit for around $319,000 if buying in the suburb’s lower quartile, while its upper quartile unit price sits at $357,500.

    Land price

    For buyers who want to purchase a block of land to build their dream home, the median land price in Nollamara is $295,000.

    The upper and lower quartile land prices in Nollamara are set at $345,000 and $230,000 respectively.
