• Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 4 July


    Sales activity in Perth increased by five per cent over the week, with 687 transactions recorded.

    This lift in weekly sales is attributed to a 13 per cent increase in house sales and a nine per cent increase in unit sales. In the vacant land market, there was a 31 per cent decline in activity this week.

    Listings for sale

    The total number of properties for sale in Perth declined over the week to 13,814.

    Listings for houses and units both decreased by five per cent, while vacant land listings decreased by four per cent.

    This week’s total listings figure is six per cent lower than four weeks ago and two per cent lower than the same time last year.

    Perth rental market

    REIWA members reported that the total number of properties for rent in Perth was stable over the week at 10,798.

    This figure is one per cent greater than levels seen four weeks ago and three per cent lower than the same time last year.
