    Sales activity in Perth etched back eight per cent this week, with 567 transactions recorded.

    The decline in sales can be attributed to a 17 per cent decrease in house sales and a two per cent decrease in unit sales. In positive news, there was a 20 per cent increase in vacant land sales.

    Listings for sale

    The total number of properties for sale in Perth decreased by two per cent over the week to 14,314.

    Listings for houses, units and vacant land decreased by two, two and four per cent respectively.

    This week’s total listings figure is three per cent higher than four weeks ago and two per cent lower than the same time last year.

    Perth rental market

    REIWA members reported that the total number of properties for rent in Perth declined two per cent over the week to 10,476.

    This is one per cent lower than four weeks ago and nine per cent higher than the same time last year.
