• Perth Market Snapshot for the week ending 3 April


    The Easter long weekend affected sales in Perth this week, with activity declining 19 per cent as REIWA members reported 462 transactions.

    This decline can be attributed to a 25 per cent drop in house sales and an 11 per cent fall in unit sales. However, there was a 14 per cent increase in vacant land sales.

    Listings for sale

    There were 14,349 properties for sale in Perth this week, with listings for housing decreasing two per cent, unit listings decreasing three per cent and vacant land listings decreasing four per cent.

    This week’s listing figure is one per cent higher than four weeks ago and three per cent lower than a year ago.

    Perth rental market

    REIWA members reported there were 8,495 properties for rent in Perth over the week.

    This figure is similar to levels recorded four weeks ago and 19 per cent lower the same time last year.
