Sales activity increased 53.3 per cent in Perth this week, with REIWA members reporting 437 transactions.
This increase can be attributed to a 40.5
per cent rise in house sales, 63.4 per
cent increase in unit sales and 134.5 per cent increase in vacant land sales
over the week.
There were 11,903 properties for sale in Perth at the end of this week, which
is 1.4 per cent lower than last week.
A closer look at listing stock levels
shows house listings decreased by 2.4 per cent, listings for units remained
unchanged and vacant land listings decreased by 0.1 per cent.
This week's total
figure for properties listed for sale is five per cent lower than levels seen
four weeks ago and is 20.7 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.
REIWA members reported there were 5,696 properties for rent in Perth at the end of this week, which
is in line with last week.
