Sales activity in the Perth metro area increased two per cent over the week, with 554 transactions recorded.
The increase in sales can be attributed to a five per cent lift in house sales and a seven per cent increase in land sales. Unit sales declined by 10 per cent.
Listings for sale
The total number of
properties for sale in Perth increased by one per cent to 14,316 this week.
Listings for houses and vacant land both increased by one per cent, while unit listings were unchanged (in percentage terms).
This week’s total listings figure is two per cent higher than four weeks ago and five per cent lower than the same time last year.
Perth rental market
REIWA members reported that the total number of
properties for rent in Perth decreased one per cent to 10,795 over the week.
This figure is three per cent lower than four weeks ago and 31 per cent higher than the same time last year.
